Linda Gooder age 62, of Perry died on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, IA. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with family present to greet friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and a memorial service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Memorials may be given to Perry Lutheran Home and may be left at the Funeral Home.

 

Linda Beth Gooder was born on December 14, 1947 at Battle Creek, MI to Robert and Mary Elizabeth (Charles) Vermeer. She graduated from Benson High School, Omaha, NE. She attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Linda worked for as a Travel Agent for years.


Linda enjoyed creating arts and crafts, and loved animals.


Linda was preceded in death by parents Robert and Mary.+
Survivors include her daughter, Christi Elizabeth Taylor (Todd), Polk City, IA, son, Scott Gene Gooder, Perry, IA, brother, Timothy Vermeer (Fran), Pella, IA, 2 grandchildren, Zachary and Jordan Taylor.
